Tree Tidy Up
There are three very tall eucalyptus trees at the bottom of a steep slope on the boundary of our property. There is a distinct possibility that they will uproot and fall over to our neighbours at the next big storm. Given the way storms have been developing in our part of the world, it is a matter of when, not it.
The condition of the steep slope and tight corners made the cost of removing all three trees really high. As a first step, we asked our arborist to take down one of the trees while we were away. One small step, one big bill at a time. To save money, we will take care of disposing of the tree when it has been brought down. Thankfully, the arborist took the tree down by sections, making our work easier.
Here is a video and some photos of us work on the tree. The trunk is split into firewood for next year and the branches are being prepared to be mulched at a later date.
