Having a dog means lots of exercise for the human carers and the dog. As a young puppy, training helps us bond with Artie and encourage good behaviours from him (and us).
Apart from walking and practising commands like up, sit and stay, we use a pole with squeaky toys at the end to give Artie a good run around and learn how to release the toy.
He has been such a wonderful and loving dog. He has his moments but for a young puppy, he is amazing, 10 out of 10. If there is any area for improvement, it is with us, remembering to be consistent and thinking how we can check our emotions and better communicate what we want from him.
I’m working on a video to showcase some photos made during my early morning commute into town. It is lacking a sound bite. I’ll release it in a few days time.
You sound like your are the best dog parents! Thank you for taking such good care and proper responsibility for your dog!
