Tight Spaces
My morning train journey into the city couples with a morning photowalk routine. I've love making photos at to start my day. I’ve been images of the city for the past 10-15 years. Sometimes I fall into a pleasurable walk, revisiting well trodden photowalk routes and making new images at familiar places. Sometimes, I break the routine and do something different.
This morning, I’ve revisiting a familiar spot but trying to view it in a different way. Armed with a 35mm (APS-C) lens in a tight spot, 2-3m wide sidewalk, I experimented. The bright Sale sign and fast moving crow made autofocusing hard. A few failed attempts later, I managed to engage manual focus and focused on trying to get the right composition without using burst mode.
I’ve posted a few photos of Artie and Chris in my “Life update” section.
