Wet, warm and cold conditions clashed to produce a brilliant foggy morning 2 weeks ago. While travellers who face flight delays might not view fog in a positive light, it makes for beautiful atmospheric images.
As my train wound its way through South Auckland to the city, I saw the city blanketed in fog. Anything headlights or any other source of lights shines on through the fog took on a special ethereal and dreamy look. Safe in the comfort of a warm train carriage, I took immense pleasure at the scenery. I snuggled into the foggy scenes I saw like a warm blanket in front of a campfire.
It was with great excitement that I got off the train at my final stop, Britomart Train Station. Here are some of the images and video that I captured that morning.
