Early Morning Photowalk
I've been shooting with my beloved Fujifilm X-Pro3 camera the past week after sending the X-T5 in for servicing. My X-Pro3 started life as a regret. I had buyer's remorse immediately after leaving the shop. It was my ingrained Asian need to save face that stopped me from going back into the shop and returning it. This need to save face gave me a chance to fall madly in love with the camera.
I put the X-Pro3 aside when I bought the X-T5 as an interim measure until the newer version of the Xpro line is launched with in body stabilisation so that I can start making videos. As is natural, I got caught up with the new camera and completely forgot about the X-Pro3.
I got reacquainted with the X-Pro over the past week. It was awkward at the start. Being so different from standard Fujifilm cameras, it took me a few days to find my groove. The different dial and knob layout and the closed back screen now feel like second nature. I'm glad to hold it in my hands again.
But as much as I wax lyrical about how much I love the X-Pro3, I'm itching to try something new. Fujifilm is release a new medium format fixed lens camera soon. The rumour is that it will adopt the same range finder aesthetics at the X-Pro3. I feel like I'm having a mid-life crisis
