Balance
This week has been a week about learning to strike the right balance, a balance between being in the moment and making/executing a good plan:
How do I stay calm and relaxed in a tennis match so that I can hit freely and deeply and still retain a level of focus and determination to win the match and not let my fellow inter club team mates down.
Should I aim to wait for the right composition and moment in time to make an image or rely on the marvels of modern technology to take a string of imagers, choosing the best image after in post production?
Do I simply enjoy my time with Artie, allowing events to unfold, or zero in on building treating every moment as a learn opportunity so that we build a solid foundation for future success?
I’ve got no answers except I’m going to turn up. I’m going to play the next inter club match. I’m going to carry my camera and make images. I’m going to spend time with Artie. If I turn up, the outcome as two or more options.
Trains are back running from my corner of Auckland into the city centre. Here are some images from my first morning photoshoot. This heralds a return to my morning photoshoot routine.
